Let’s talk about working smarter, not harder. You already put time and effort into writing blogs, filming videos, or recording podcasts, so why let that content collect digital dust? At Stratos Social Club, we’re all about repurposing, and one of our secret weapons for making content go further (with minimal effort) is ChatGPT.

Think of it like your personal content assistant…ready to remix long-form content into bite-sized, scroll-stopping social media posts in seconds. Here’s exactly how we do it:

Step 1: Start with a solid piece of content

Grab your blog post, podcast transcript, video script, or even a creative email you’ve already written. Basically, consider this stuff your goldmine of content just waiting to be repurposed.

Step 2: Save these ChatGPT prompts to break it down into bite-sized nuggets

“Help me create a post that invites my followers to read the blog.”
(Perfect for a quick teaser post that sparks curiosity and gets clicks.)

“Take this blog post and pull out the three main points people can learn from it to make one social post. Make those points into short bullet points in the caption.”
(Boom! Instant value-packed post that delivers the need-to-know info in a way that’s easy to digest.)

“Summarize this blog post into one caption for social media. I want people to get the gist of it without having to read it all.”
This one’s for the skimmers. Quick, punchy, and straight to the point.

“Use this blog post to make a caption that focuses on the blog’s CTA. Make sure to include enough details that people understand what difference the CTA will make in their lives.”
If you want people to actually take action, this is the prompt for you.

“Take the three points from this blog and make each one into a separate social media post. I want these to be informative.”
Surprise! You just got three extra posts from one blog.

PRO-TIP: When plugging these into ChatGPT, be sure to include “Act as a social media copywriter and [insert prompt here]”

Step 3: Edit and Add in Your Signature Vibe

Yes, we all know ChatGPT is excellent, but let’s be honest: When was the last time you used “delve” in a sentence IRL? Before you make your posts, be sure to tweak the captions and incorporate your brand voice. Your content should sound like YOU.

Another thing to keep an eye on? I promise you don't text your besties with 42 emojis and random icons for your listicles. PLEASE don’t do it in your content either (sorry for the tough love). That is the number one way that followers can immediately sniff out that it isn’t you behind the screen.

Step 4: Upload and Schedule

By following these few steps, you can stretch one blog post into an entire week’s worth of social content. No more staring at a blank Meta Business Suite calendar, thinking, “Ahh, is there a hashtag holiday I can talk about or something??”

It’s giving ‘set it and forget it’, without the forget it because you’ll have to do it again in a week. At least have some time to create content between then and now, ya know?

Give it a try, and tag us if you do (@stratosocialmediaclub)!
